新型コロナウィルスの影響により帰国することが難しいことを理由として、元技能実習生、留学生、ワーキングホリデー、ナニー等の在留資格から特別に「特定活動」や「短期滞在」に変更または更新をして日本に滞在していた方について、今後在留期間等の取り扱いが以下のように変更になります。
現在、出国者数が増えていることが理由とのことですが、他のビザに変更ができない方は帰国しなければならない可能性があるので、ご確認ください。
- 在留期限が今月29日までで「特定活動（６か月）」の方→更新時「特定活動（4か月）」
- 在留期限が今月29日までで「短期滞在（90日）」の方→更新時「短期滞在（90日）」
※なお、現在許可されている範囲で引き続き就労できますが、この次の更新時には、また「特定活動（4か月）」又は「短期滞在（90日）」になり、その後は更新できません。
- 在留期限が今月30日以降で「特定活動（６か月）」の方→最後の更新「特定活動（4か月）」
- 在留期限が今月30日以降で「短期滞在（90日）」の方→最後の更新「短期滞在（90日）」
※なお、現在許可されている範囲で引き続き就労できますが、帰国困難を理由とした更新は今回が最後になり、帰国準備または他の在留資格への変更をしなければなりません。

If your period of stay is until the June 29, and has "Specially Designated Activities (6 months)" → "Specially Designated Activities (4 months)" when you renew your visa.
If your period of stay is until the 29th of this month and you are in the category of "Temporary Visitor (90 days)" → "Temporary Visitor (90 days)" when you renew your visa.
You can continue to work within the scope of your current permission, but at the time of your next renewal, your status will be "Specially Designated Activities (4 months)" or "Temporary Visitor (90 days)" and you will not be able to renew after that.
If your period of stay is on or after the 30th of this month and you are in "Specially Designated Activities (6 months)" → Last renewal "Specially Designated Activities (4 months)
If your period of stay is on or after the 30th of this month and you are in the category of "Temporary Visitor (90 days)" → Last renewal "Temporary Visitor (90 days)".
*You can continue to work within the scope of your current work permit, but this will be the last renewal due to difficulty in returning home, and you must prepare to return to your country or change your visa to another status of residence.
